Load Calculations
AirRight by Hix is an active member of the Comfort Institute (CI). As a member, we understand that in order for heating and cooling equipment to operate at its designed efficiency it needs to be installed properly.
This means running a load calculation on your home to make sure the equipment is sized properly. It also means evaluating your current duct work and filtration systems using CI’s procedures. Some of the problems we sometimes find include:
- High static pressure.
- Inefficiently designed duct fittings
- Restrictive air filters.
- Improperly sized returns.
